Notes: Wagner Jr. and Beitel (1993) mapped one locality for Diphasiastrum sitchense in southwestern Greenland. In their text, however, they assigned the Greenland plant to the hybrid D. alpinum x sitchense. The Greenland material assigned to D. sitchense or the hybrid should be compared with D. complanatum subsp. montellii.
