16 (2x). - Canada (Yukon). - Mulligan and Porsild (1970). See notes.
Geography: North American (NW): ALA CAN.
Notes: The pattern in this group in North America might justify four regional (parapatric to allopatric) species: the amphi-Beringian and Alaskan Oxytropis borealis, the mainly northwestern Canadian O. glutinosa, the Cordilleran O. viscida, and the central to northeasterm Canadian ('Hudsonian') O. hudsonica. Welsh (2001) considered the type of O. glutinosa to fall inside the concept of O. borealis var. borealis. The single reported chromosome count of Mulligan and Porsild (1970) is not enough to state categorically that the one is hexaploid and the other diploid.
