Notes: Subspecies sylvestris probably reaches the Arctic. Rebristaya (in comment) stated it to be non-arctic but Petrovsky (1971a) reported it from the Bolshezemelskaya Tundra: "River Adzva at the confluence of the River Dershor ... collected in the tundra zone ... not far from the boundary of forest vegetation". Martinenko (1976b: map 19) mapped this locality and it is well north of our arctic boundary in the Bolshezemelskaya Tundra. Jalas and Suominen (1989) accepted the record.
