Not included: A report of 2n = 42 from Labrador (Gervais et al. 1997b). The report needs confirmation (by voucher) as belonging to this taxon.
Geography: North American (NE) - amphi-Atlantic (W): NOR GRL.
Notes: Festuca fredrikseniae is a northwestern Atlantic species, with certainty known from northeastern North America south of the arctic parts, Greenland, and from a few localities in Svalbard (O, TROM).
