NotesGenus concept has vacillated in Gentiana s. lat. We follow Struwe and Albert (2002), accept a broad Gentiana (including, e.g., Calathiana, Ciminalis, Dasystephana, and Gentianodes), but accept Gentianella, Comastoma, and Gentianopsis as genera.
