NotesMyosotis alpestris is a polymorphic species or species group with a disjunct alpine-arctic distribution. The northern plants have traditionally been assigned to only one subspecies but this may be too simple a solution. They may belong to several taxa (see below) but should be studied throughout their full range before we accept several races (or species).
