Veronica wormskjoldii Roem. & Schult.
Publ. & Syn.Roem. & Schult., Syst. Veg. 1: 101 (1817). Described from Greenland. - Veronica alpina var. wormskjoldii (Roem. & Schult) Hook., Bot. Mag. 57: t. 2975 (1830).
NotesVeronica wormskjoldii is a tetraploid northwestern Atlantic species that reaches the Arctic in southern Greenland, northeastern Canada north to southern Baffin Island, and perhaps in a few localities west of Hudson Bay. The results of Albach et al. (2006) point towards an allotetraploid origin from V. alpina and V. nutans.
