NotesA thorough morphological and cytological study of Eurasian Rorippa was made by Jonsell (1968, 1971). The genus name Nasturtium was previously sometimes applied to some of the species listed below. Carlsen et al. (2009) showed that the genus Nasturtium is well apart from Rorippa (and closer to Cardamine) but including only non-arctic species.
Chromosomes14 16 18 (2x, x = 8?). - Europe. - Several reports.
The reports of 2n = 14 and 18 may be of aneuploids.
