Hedysarum L.
Publ. & Syn.Excluded: Hedysarum alpinum subsp. alpinum and subsp. boreoeuropaeum.
NotesElven and Murray: Two alternatives were discussed initially for this genus, one by Yurtsev (1986, PAF proposal) with 5-6 species, one with two races, and one based on the treatments of Hultén, Welsh (1968), and Gillett et al. (2007) with three species, each with races. The alternatives did not differ in which taxa were recognized, only in their ranks and names.
