NotesTzvelev (PAF proposal) reported Bromopsis inermis to reach the Arctic as native in European Russia and Siberia, Sekretareva (1999) considered it adventive. We follow Sekretareva.

Löve and Löve (1975a) accepted only reports of octoploids. The other ploidy levels are supported by numerous reports (available already at the time of publication of the Löve Atlas). Pavlick and Anderton (2007) accepted tetraploid and octoploid counts.
