Bromopsis (Dumort.) Fourr.
Publ. & Syn.Excluded: Bromopsis pumpelliana subsp. ircutensis.
NotesAuthors differ in whether to accept (e.g., Stace 1997) or not to accept (e.g., Soreng et al. 2003; Pavlick and Anderton 2007) a split of the polymorphic genus Bromus s. lat. We follow many recent European authors and accept a split into Bromus s. str., Bromopsis, Anisantha, and Ceratochloa. Only representatives of Bromopsis are confirmed to reach the Arctic as natives or established adventives.
