Potamogeton sibiricus A. Benn.
Publ. & Syn.A. Benn., J. Bot. 28: 300 (1890). Described from Yakutia (Siberia).
NotesTzvelev (PAF proposal) did not report Potamogeton sibiricus to reach the Arctic but Kashina (1988) reported it from the Borderline Arctic at Chersk village in the Kolyma River estuary. According to Kashina, the species is only known from two other localities, in central and southeastern Siberia. This is obviously a species in need of a critical evaluation.
