NotesLashchenkova (1974) mapped localities for Potamogeton lucens in the Borderline Arctic in the Bolshezemelskaya Tundra in northeastern European Russia. Hultén and Fries (1986) mapped localities along the lower Jenisei and Lena rivers in northern Siberia. Kashina (1988) mapped a lower Ob River locality but no occurrences farther north along the Jenisei or Lena rivers. We follow Lashchenkova and Kashina. The reports of Hultén and Fries may, however, have been based on specimens in Swedish (or Finnish) herbaria, not available to the Russian mappers.
