Bartsia alpina L.
Publ. & Syn.L., Sp. Pl.: 602 (1753). Described from mountains in northern, central, and southern Europe. Lectotype (UPS): Herb. Burser XIV:36 (Molau 1990: 19).
NotesLöve and Löve (1975a) accepted only tetraploid plants as Bartsia alpina s. str. Counts of other ploidy levels are all made on plants from the central European mountains and indicate that the species might be more variable there than in the Arctic.
