Melampyrum L.
Publ. & Syn.L., Sp. Pl.: 605 (1753).
NotesIvanina and Elven: As in many other hemiparasites, there is some differentiation into aestival and autumnal races and also some geographical differentiation. We omit to include such races as the plants from the arctic and near-arctic parts have been little studied and as the races are not clearly defined. Ronniger (1910) proposed an extremely complicated infraspecific taxonomy that we do not accept.
