Publ. & Syn.Linum perenne auct., non L., Sp. Pl.: 277 (1753).
NotesOckendon and Walters (1968) included the northern Ural plants in Linum perenne subsp. alpinum (Jacq.) Ockendon, Feddes Repert. 74: 20 (1967) [L. alpinum Jacq., Enum. Stirp. Vindob.: 229 (1762); described from the eastern Alps in Austria]. Peschkova (1996b) treated these plants as L. boreale, whereas Egorova (1996) assigned L. boreale as a subspecies to L. komarovii. That solution is an alternative, possibly including L. taymirense as another subspecies.
