Limnorchis huronensis (Nutt.) Rydb.
Publ. & Syn.Limnorchis hyperborea auct. amer. - Platanthera hyperborea auct. amer.
NotesLimnorchis huronensis was previously treated as Platanthera hyperborea var. viridiflora but is evidently different from both L. hyperborea and L. aquilonis. The recent combination L. huronensis (Nutt.) Rebrist. & Elven in Elven and D.F. Murray (2008: 434) was superfluous. The species is an allotetraploid from L. aquilonis and L. dilatata (Wallace 2003, 2004).
