NotesReports of Lemna minor from the Hudson Bay area (Hultén 1968a; Porsild and Cody 1980) are based on L. turionifera (Landolt 2000). Specimens behind the Russian reports from the Arctic should be checked as both L. minor and L. turionifera are frequent in many northern regions, at least in Europe.

Not included: Reports from before 1970 may refer to other species, especially L. turionifera.
