NotesSennikov (1999) merged the assumed Ă–land endemic var. or subsp. pumila with the assumed northern Urals endemic Crepis foliosa under the latter name and mapped this species to be frequent throughout much of Eurasia. We agree with his merger but provisionally prefer rank as subspecies.
