Publ. & Syn. | Holub, Folia Geobot. Phytotax. 8: 174 (1973). - Senecio tundricola Tolm., Dokl. Akad. Nauk SSSR, ser. A., 1928: 266 (1928). Described from northwestern Siberia. - Senecio integrifolius subsp. tundricola (Tolm.) Chater, Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 68: 276 (1974). |
Notes | Murray and Elven: There are numerous arctic specimens (LE) annotated as Tephroseris tundricola from throughout the northern Russian Far East. Some Alaskan plants (ALA) are not very different either. Barkley and Murray (2006) accepted T. tundricola from the Bering Strait areas in western Alaska. See, however, the Russian accounts where the eastern limit of T. tundricola is mapped in West Chukotka, whereas the East Chukotka plants up to the Bering Strait are considered to belong to T. integrifolia. |
