NotesBoth sexual and agamospermous plants occur within Antennaria monocephala. Bayer (1993, 1996, 2006) considered one widely circumscribed species with two subspecies, one sexual and one agamospermous. See also "glabrata" under A. alpina subsp. porsildii above.
       We have assigned chromosome numbers above the tetraploid level to subsp. angustata.
