NotesIn addition, a subsp. eucosma (Fernald & Wiegand) R.J. Bayer occurs in non-arctic parts of northeastern North America.

(2) 56 (8x). - North America (W). - At least five reports.
Not included: A report of 2n = 63 (9x) from British Columbia (Löve and Löve 1964a) and one of 2n = 84 (12x) from Manitoba (Löve and Löve 1982b). These numbers were not accepted by Bayer (2006). It is difficult to imagine what could have been mistaken for this characteristic species.
