NotesErigeron glabellus is recognized with two races: subsp./var. glabellus mainly in western U.S.A. and southwesternmost Canada and subsp./var. pubescens throughout in western North America and reaching the Arctic in Alaska and the Yukon Territory.
Chromosomes(1) 18 (2x). - Canada, U.S.A., and cultivated plants. - Several reports.
(2) 36 (4x). - Solbrig et al. (1969, for subsp. glabellus).
