NotesHultén and Fries (1986) mapped subsp. acris to reach the Arctic on the Kanin Peninsula and in the Bolshezemelskaya Tundra in European Russia and along the Jenisei, near the Yana, and along the Kolyma in Siberia. Korolyuk (1997) reported it from the Arctic in Taimyr and Yakutia but without specified localities. It approaches the Arctic in Norway.
