NotesSolidago lepida reaches the Borderline Arctic southwest of the Kuskokwim Mountains in Alaska (Hultén 1968a). Scoggan (1979 reported it to possibly reach the Borderline Arctic at Hudson Bay but Porsild and Cody (1980) did not map it fully north to the boundary.
       Solidago canadensis var. salebrosa has for a long time been accepted from the Yukon Territory (e.g., Cody 1996) and Alaska (e.g., Hultén 1968a). Semple and Cook (2006) assigned var. salebrosa to S. lepida and mapped it to reach only north to southernmost western Canada.
