Campanula rotundifolia subsp. rotundifolia
Publ. & Syn.L., Sp. Pl.: 163 (1753). Lectotype (LINN): Europe. Herb. Linn. 221.5 (Böcher 1966b: 292).
NotesThe range of Campanula rotundifolia as native in Iceland is compact and consistent, confined to the eastern part, and reaches the Arctic at Langanes in northeastern Iceland. The plants are of the many and small-flowered temperate European type, i.e., subsp. rotundifolia. Whether the same type reaches the Arctic in mainland Europe is less certain.
