NotesMyosotis arvensis is native or a well established archaeophyte in Iceland (Kristinsson 2010) and northern Norway and seems to be an established adventive in Ivigtut in southwestern Greenland (Pedersen 1972). It is probably casual elsewhere.
Chromosomes48 50-54 (6x). - Europe, Canada (W). - Numerous reports of 2n = 48 and 52 and also of other numbers.
Not included: A report of 2n = 36 from Greece (Strid and Franzén 1981, for M. arvensis subsp. arvensis). Merxmüller (1970) considered only counts of 2n = 52 to be correct.
