Eritrichium sericeum (Lehm.) DC.
Publ. & Syn.DC., Prodr. 10: 126 (1846). - Myosotis sericea Lehm., Pl. Asperif. Nucif. 2: 98 (1818). Described from Angara (Siberia).
NotesPetrovsky (1980a, PAF proposal) accepted two races: subsp. sericeum and subsp. arctisibiricum. The distribution of subsp. arctisibiricum is strange - disjunct from Taimyr with surroundings to Wrangel Island - whereas the plants between these two regions are assigned to subsp. sericeum. This phytogeographic pattern needs some explanation before two races are fully accepted (a Quaternary "Shelf" connection for subsp. arctisibiricum?). See, however, the suggestion of a difference in ploidy levels.
