NotesBoth Hultén (1961, 1971a) and Molau and Murray (1996) considered Pedicularis albolabiata to be very widespread in northern Asia and North America. Compared with Molau and Murray (1996), we have transferred parts of it from European Russia and northwestern Siberia to P. novaiae-zemliae.

Not included: Löve and Löve (1975a) assigned several additional reports of 2n = 16 under this name but vouchers must be checked before they are accepted.
