Pedicularis langsdorffii var. purpurascens (Cham. ex Spreng.) Ivanina
Publ. & Syn.?Pedicularis willdenowii Vved., Fl. URSS 22: 778 (1955). - Nomen novum for Pedicularis langsdorffii var. ? Steven, Mém. Soc. Imp. Naturalistes Moscou 6: 49 (1823). Described from the Bering Sea coasts and islands. Internal note: Perhaps check again the text in Fl. URSS 22: 778 (1955).
NotesIvanina (PAF proposal) indicated Pedicularis willdenowii to be a synonym of P. lanata. Vvedensky proposed it to be a name for P. langsdorffii var. ? Steven. The name then rather seems to be a synonym of P. langsdorffii var. purpurascens.
