Pedicularis dasyantha (Trautv.) Hadac
Publ. & Syn.Hadac, Stud. Bot. Cech. 5: 4 (1942). - Pedicularis lanata var. dasyantha Trautv., Trudy Imp. S.-Peterburgsk. Bot. Sada 1: 76 (1871). Holotype (O): Svalbard: Vindodden, 12. July 1939, leg. E. Hadac. - Pedicularis kanei subsp. dasyantha (Trautv.) Hultén, Ark. Bot., n. s., 7, 1: 121 (1968).
NotesElven and Tribsch: The boundary between Pedicularis alopecuroides and P. dasyantha runs somewhere in Taimyr. Hultén (1971a) assigned the Taimyr plants to P. alopecuroides (as P. kanei subsp. adamsii). Ivanina (1980b) mapped overlap between P. dasyantha and P. alopecuroides in Taimyr. Inspecting a material from northern Siberia including western and eastern Taimyr, we found the differences reported between the two taxa to hold, without signs of intermediates.
Ivanina (PAF proposal) accepted two varieties:
Chromosomes16 (2x). - Europe (Svalbard). - Engelskjøn (1979).
GeographyEuropean (N) - Asian (NW).
