NotesLansdown (2006a) argued for and treated Callitriche hamulata as a race of C. brutia. His arguments for this treatment are rather convincing and are accepted here.
       Solstad and Elven: Callitriche brutia s. str. is vouchered from northern Iceland as far north as Isafjördur but does not fully reach the arctic parts.
