NotesCallitriche subanceps is sometimes assigned to C. palustris, sometimes to C. anceps, and sometimes kept apart from both. Lansdown (2006b) accepted C. subanceps as an Asian species but did not further describe or comment on it. Callitriche subanceps may occur in the Borderline Arctic in Siberia and the Russian Far East. The information available is not sufficient for its acceptance for the Checklist or for inclusion in the distribution table.
