NotesHippuris tetraphylla approaches but does not reach the Arctic in Norway. The frequencies are uncertain for the Russian regions due to confusion with H. lanceolata.
Chromosomes32 (4x). - Europe (N), Far East (N), Canada. - Several reports but many of these may belong to H. lanceolata.
