NotesAccording to Doronkin (1997), Thymus karavaëvii is most closely related to T. mongolicus (see below). He reported it from the Borderline Arctic at Kyusur on the lower Lena River.
Chromosomes(1) 24 (4x, x = 6?). - Far East (West Chukotka). - Zhukova and Petrovsky (1975).
(2) 28 (4x, x = 7). - Siberia (N), Far East (N). - At least four reports.
