Thymus oxyodontus Klokov
Publ. & Syn.Klokov, Bot. Mater. Gerb. Bot. Inst. Komarova Akad. Nauk SSSR 16: 311 (1954). Described from "r. Panteleikha, misi Tolstii & Krestovii" in Yakutia (Siberia).
NotesProbatova (1995) mapped only one Thymus from the northern (arctic) Russian Far East: T. diversifolius. It is probable that this includes T. oxyodontus as she did not mention that species and as the chromosome number reports assigned to T. oxyodontus are cited by Probatova under T. diversifolius.
Chromosomes(1) 24 (4x, x = 6?). - Far East (West Chukotka). - Zhukova and Petrovsky (1975).
(2) 28 (4x, x = 7). - Siberia (N), Far East (N). - At least four reports.
