Chromosomes(1) 38 (2x, x = 19). - Alaska (NW). - Johnson and Packer (1968, for Androsace ochotensis).
(2) 40 (2x, x = 20). - Far East (N). - Five reports.
The 2n = 38 chromosome count of Johnson and Packer (1968) was made on plants within the range of D. ochotensis, not of D. arctica.
