Primula nutans Georgi
Publ. & Syn.Georgi, Bemerk. Reise 1: 200 (1775). Described from "ab Ob fluvio ad transbaicalensis usque ad regiones" (Siberia). Holotype: J.G. Gmelin, Fl. Sib. 4: t. 46. 1769. - Primula sibirica Jacq., Misc. Austriac. 1: 161 (1778). Homotypic with Primula nutans according to Kelso (1991a).
NotesKelso and Elven: Two studies of the Primula nutans group are Mäkinen and Mäkinen (1964) and Kelso (1991a). Kelso accepted subsp. finmarchia based on a slight morphological difference from subsp. nutans (relative lengths of corolla and calyx) and because its range is separated from the main body of subsp. nutans by a gap of nearly 50 longitude. Korobkov (PAF proposal, comments) supports this solution.
