NotesSubspecies integrifolia is an eco-geographical, non-maritime race in mires, springs, seepages, and snowbeds, up to the middle alpine belt in the mountains. In snowbed sites, it morphologically closely simulates the high-arctic plants (Cochlearia groenlandica) but is tetraploid. It is perennial as opposed to the annual or biennial littoral plants. See Nordal et al. (1986) and Nordal and Stabbetorp (1990).
