NotesDescurainia sophia is reported to be an established adventive in the Vorkuta area in northeastern European Russia, to be casual elsewhere.
Chromosomes(1) 14 (2x). - Siberia (C, S), Asia (C). - At least three reports.
(2) 28 (4x). - Europe, Russia, Siberia, Canada. - Numerous reports.
Tetraploids are widespread, whereas diploids are reported only from Asia.
