Alchemilla norvegica Sam. ined.
Publ. & Syn.Alchemilla oxyodonta auct., non (Buser) C.G. Westerl. (1907).
NotesAlchemilla norvegica has not been formally described but is accepted by many Nordic authors as a fairly distinct species. It is comparatively frequent and reaches the Arctic in Norway and also east to the Russian border. We assume that the arctic Rybachi Peninsula plants (the Murman area) reported as A. oxyodonta (Juzepczuk 1959b) belong in the same relationship. The true A. oxyodonta is a very local central Scandinavian species.
