Alchemilla acutiloba Opiz
Publ. & Syn.Alchemilla vulgaris auct., non L. (1753). See notes.
NotesAlchemilla acutiloba is, besides A. micans Buser, the most weedy of the northern European Alchemillas. The species is recorded by Tikhomirov (PAF proposal) from Polar Ural but uncertain whether established there. Alm et al. (2000) reported the species with established arctic and borderline occurrences in Norway but the material must have been reidentified as the confirmed vouchers of A. acutiloba (TROM) all are from ruderal sites in the non-arctic Sør-Varanger area.
Fröhner (1986: 64) assigned Linnaeus' name A. vulgaris L., Sp. Pl.: 123 (1753), to this species with lectotype (L): van Royen, Herb. Lugd. Bat. n. 908, 190-1281. However, this type is an inadmissible element and has been rejected (Kurtto et al. 2007; Jarvis 2007).
Chromosomesca. 100-109. - Europe. - At least four reports.
Not included: Reports as A. vulgaris as they just as well may refer to the collective species.
