NotesPaule and Soják (2009) presented good arguments for a merger of Sibbaldia L. and Sibbaldiopsis Rydb. under the former name. Three molecular studies supporting this merger are Eriksson et al. (1998, 2003) and Lundberg et al. (2009) based on several kinds of sequences.
