NotesThe representatives of sect. Aureae that reach the Arctic belong to three groups: Potentilla crantzii + P. gelida, P. hyparctica + P. pulviniformis, and P. fragiformis + P. nana. Yurtsev proposed two additional hybrid species not fully accepted by Elven, Murray, and Aiken.
