Potentilla bimundorum Soják
Publ. & Syn.Potentilla multifida auct., non L. (1753).
NotesYurtsev: Potentilla bimundorum has a more northern range than [P. tergemina] (Soják 1974a) but it very weakly penetrates the Arctic, mostly as an adventive plant.
Elven and Murray: Potentilla bimundorum is an assumed 'basal' species and probably parental in at least one important assumedly hybridogeneous species: P. rubricaulis. It is rather common in Alaska and northern Canada and reaches the Arctic in several places both as native and as adventive.
Chromosomes28 (4x). - Alaska, Canada (Manitoba). - Dawe and Murray (1979, for P. multifida but is P. bimundorum, voucher checked); Löve and Löve (1982b, for P. multifida).
