Geum L.
Publ. & Syn.Casual: Geum aleppicum subsp. aleppicum, G. macrophyllum subsp. macrophyllum.
NotesMurray and Elven: Yurtsev (PAF proposal, comments) accepted several segregate genera besides Geum s. str., in an arctic context Acomastylis, Novosieversia, and Parageum. Smedmark and Eriksson (2002) included the main arctic species of these genera in a phylogenetic study based on ITS and cpDNA markers. This study did not give support to generic rank for those entities. Their species nested among the species of Geum s. str. in all analyses.
