Oxytropis middendorffii subsp. schmidtii (Meinsh.) Jurtz.
Publ. & Syn.Jurtz., Fl. Suntar-Khayata: 74 (1968). - Oxytropis schmidtii Meinsh. in F. Schmidt, Wiss. Result. Jenissei Exped.: 97 (1872). Described from the Dudinka area on the lower Jenisei (Siberia).
NotesYurtsev: Subspecies schmidtii s. str. is a local race the Norilsk Mountains, southwestern Taimyr-Putorana with combination of characters of subsp. middendorffii (very large flowers with widely ovate banner and wings, filiform calyx teeth longer than tube or almost equal to it, yellow-viscid ovate stipules, glands large, legumes shortly stipitate, dorsal vein profound) and of subsp. anadyrensis (legumes and calyx tube glandulous sticky, leaflets sticky on both sides). The corolla is much paler than in subsp. middendorffii.
