Notes	Murray and Elven: There are specimens (ALA) from arctic Alaskan localities at least at the Noatak River and in the Kotzebue area.
Chromosomes	(1) 16 (2x). - Ledingham (1960). (2) 32 (4x). - Canada (Quebec). - Gervais et al. (1999, for subsp. fernaldii).
