NotesMelilotus albus is reported to be established in Polarnyi in the Polar Ural (Yurtsev PAF draft). It is expanding and possibly soon established also in northern Alaska, especially along the Haul Road into the Brooks Range.
Chromosomes16 (2x). - Europe, Russia, Canada, U.S.A.? - Numerous reports.
Also some other chromosome numbers are reported for this species: 2n = 24, 32, 36.
