NotesElven: We do not know whether Dorn's proposal for lectotype of Salix pellita ever was published.
       Argus: As type, the Bourgeau specimen would fit the usage of the name. The alternative, a Lyall specimen from Rocky Mountains, is from within the range of the related S. drummondiana Barratt ex Hook.
